I'm a HUGE lover of lists....I make at LEAST one a day...usually more. I adore the feeling of crossing things of the list (YES, I sometimes even write down things I've already done just so I can cross them off...you know you do it too!). So, Mondays are our day to make a list together. But not the normal run-of-the-mill to-do list. We'll be making a list that means a little more than that...a list to get us thinking...a list to make us mindful of the blessings in our lives. Now, before you get all short of breath and panicky let me encourage you...this list is for YOU...not anyone else. Therefore it does not have to be perfect, it doesn't have to be all encompassing, it never has to get "done"...it's simply an exercise that we'll do together for FUN.
So, here we go. Our list today is:Five things you hope your children will say when they are grown and are asked to recall their childhood.
(If your kids are all grown...make a list of the Top Five Things Your Children Have Said About Their Childhood.)
Now go ahead and open a Word document (or the equivalent) and start typing. Five is NOT that many...you can do it! If you please, I'd LOVE to see your list...leave a comment and share. ;) I will share my five next Monday and give you a new list to work on.
See you tomorrow! Stacy

1. You always listened to me.
2. We always had fun together as a family.
3. Thank you for letting us figure things out on our own even when you wanted to just tell us how to do it.
4. I realize now why you worked so hard, even if it meant time away from us. (This is a big one for me because I often have guilt for working when I wish I could be playing with my kids, and I hope that someday they understand why I had to do it sometimes.)
5. I loved everything you cooked. (Yeah right!)
